Editorial policy

How the newsroom works.

Trust is the only thing a publication can't buy back once it's lost. These are the principles Triplema reports under — public, simple, and worded the way an editor would explain them to a new contributor.

§ Our mission

Our mission

Triplema is an independent editorial newsroom covering startups, AI and marketing. We exist to report on the operators, ideas and companies shaping the next decade of technology — clearly, accurately and in long-form when the story deserves it.

We don't aggregate. We don't rewrite press releases. Every story is written by a named editor who is accountable for the work.

§ Ownership & funding

Ownership & funding

Triplema is independently owned. We are not part of, owned by, or controlled by any portfolio company, venture firm or PR agency.

Revenue comes from three streams: sponsored content (always disclosed), advertising (newsletter, display) and editorial services for founders who want their story told well. Editorial coverage is never for sale.

§ Sourcing & verification

Sourcing & verification

We try to talk to primary sources — founders, operators, the people who actually built the thing — before publishing. Where we use third-party reporting, we link to the original source.

Funding figures are verified against at least one of: filings, the official company statement, the lead investor on record, or a named source close to the round. We do not publish unverified funding numbers as fact.

§ Corrections & updates

Corrections & updates

If we get something wrong, we correct it. Substantive corrections are noted at the bottom of the article with the date of the fix. Minor edits (typos, broken links) are made silently.

Spotted an error? Email editorial@triplema.in and we'll review within one business day.

§ Right to reply

Right to reply

Before publishing a story that is critical of a named company or person, we offer a chance to comment. We respect on-the-record / off-the-record / on background distinctions when sources flag them before answering.

§ AI use in the newsroom

AI use in the newsroom

We use AI tools for research, transcription and drafting assistance. Every published piece is written, edited and verified by a human editor. We don't publish AI-generated articles under an editor's by-line.

When we feature AI-generated content as the story itself (for example, a tool review), we say so explicitly.

§ Takedown requests

Takedown requests

We don't take down accurate, properly-sourced reporting. We will consider takedown requests on the basis of factual error, legal obligation, or where continued publication poses a documented safety risk to a named individual.

Send takedown requests to editorial@triplema.in with a clear description of the issue.
